Fees & Coverage

Session Fees

Each session lasts up to 50 mins at a rate of $150-$190 depending on practitioner. To facilitate contactless payment, we currently accept all major credit cards for session payments.

Reduced Fee Sessions

Sessions at a reduced fee are offered by psychotherapy interns. You can find these sessions on our online booking under “Reduced Fee Sessions”. Only the therapists listed in this section offer the reduced fee sessions. By utilizing interns we are able to provide high-quality therapy at a reduced cost for those without insurance. Please note that the intern rate is time-limited to the intern’s practicum and rates will increase after the intern’s practicum period has ended. At that time you will be provided with alternative care options should those better suit your needs.

Insurance Coverage

Counselling and psychotherapy services are not covered through OHIP. However, psychotherapy services are covered by many extended health insurance plans. You will be given an official receipt at the end of each session which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement

It is strongly recommended to check with your insurance provider prior to your first appointment to see if coverage for therapy services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist is included in your plan.

When checking with your provider, ask what kind of service providers your plan will cover. If your plan covers services provided by Canadian Certified Counsellors or Registered Psychotherapists, it will recognize our credentials.

Please note that psychotherapy receipts that have not been reimbursed by health plans can be used to receive deductions on your taxes.

Cancellation Policy

A cancellation fee equivalent to a full session fee is charged for missed appointments or cancellations with less than 24-hours notice unless it is due to illness or an emergency.
