Delphine Amer is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP, M.Sc.) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She has over 12 years of experience along with extensive training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Solutions Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Delphine is also a certified clinical trauma professional (CCTP). Through her master’s degree, Delphine holds a specialization in child and adolescent mental health.

Delphine works through a trauma informed lens; collaboratively and emphatically developing treatment plans which enable those she works with to reach their goals. Her work involves helping clients through a variety of issues which include anxiety (generalized, OCD, specific phobias and fears and social), depression, trauma, stress management, lack of motivation, parenting challenges, life transitions, and relationship problems. In her work with couples, Delphine uses the Gottman Couples Therapy approach.

Delphine is passionate about the work she does and believes that everyone has the potential to build a life worth living. She uses her skills to enable clients to identify reachable goals that promote a sense of well-being and mental wellness.
